A time is scheduled to meet with you and take a few measurements. We discuss what you want to fully understand your project needs.

Material Selection

Since there are hundreds of colors readily available worldwide, we provide assistance in choosing a suitable color. Each piece of granite has its own unique pattern that cannot ever be duplicated. It's not a manufactured look but a completely irrational pattern with style and beauty. Instead of stocking material, we buy it on a per job basis and offer hundreds of colors with several different variations.

Extras & Options

Our staff goes over edge details, cut-outs, and differences in under-mounted and top-mounted sinks. Associated costs involved in each option are also discussed.

  
Finalizing the Contract

After reviewing your choices together, the estimate created is an all-inclusive contract clearly spelling out the upcoming scope of work and all costs correlating with your project. We do not ask for any additional monies from you unless the scope of work or materials required changes.

  
Signatures & Deposits

Now that we have a signed contract, a 50% deposit is required to proceed. The balance is due upon completion and/or delivery of your project.

  
Final Material Selection

Depending on your choices, you may wish to hand select the material. When you're ready, we make arrangements for you to visit one of our stone supplier yards. Remember to let them know Granite Specialist is your fabricator.

  
Demo and Templating

The next step is scheduling demo and installation dates. We arrange to tear out and haul away your old countertops, if required as part of the scope of work, and create a custom template of your counters. Not all jobs require a template for fabrication.

  
Installation & Final Payment

Installation is generally scheduled five to seven days after completion of templates and/or measuring. Final payment is due after we finish installing your new countertops.
